Thsi is one of my better images of M51 and involved more of and longer exposures. 

I didn't have long to capture the images for this image before the clouds rolled in so only captured what I could. Neverthless, I managed a number of 600s exposures in L, R, G, B. 

Along with the main galaxy, NGC 7331, there are several other galaxies visible in the image. 

Just a single 2 minute exposure (180s) of the Andromeda Galaxy captured with my Nikon unmodified DSLR and a telephoto lens. 

M31 is much too larger than the field of view with my permanent observator telescope. So, any images I do take of Andromeda are usually captured with my portable setups. 

All the images here have been captured and processed by me either using my own equipment, equipment borrowed from my astronomy friends or, on occassion, remote telescopes I am fortunate to have access to. Mostly, the equipment used is listed in the discription boxes at the side of each image.

This image was captured early 2019 and comprises of 6x300s Light, 4x 300s R, G, B. 

The image improves on my previous attempts but there is still room for improvement.

M81, Bode's Galaxy

This image was captured early 2019 and comprises of 8x600s Light, 8x 300s R, G, B. 

This was the first time I've had time to image M81 completely, I have plent with just light only but never managed to gather the colur frames. Finally, I have a complete image and one I am pleased with.
